LIV Golf has already stolen Jon Rahm from the PGA Tour with just weeks until their new season begins.

LIV Golf have reportedly tried and failed with a late bid to bring in Tommy Fleetwood and Nicolai Hojgaard before the season starts next month with a new 'primary target' in mind.

The PGA Tour was rocked last month when Jon Rahm decided to jump ship in a deal reported to be worth around £450million.

Rahm's departure from the PGA Tour has appeared to change the narrative on switches between the two warring golf leagues.

Players who have previously made the move to LIV were lambasted and ostracised for chasing the money on offer in the Saudi-backed league.

But players appear to be more open to the idea of switching to LIV if the right offer lands on their lap.

It hasn't been enough to convince the likes of Viktor Hovland, Ludvig Aberg and Tony Finau.

All three players have had approaches from LIV in recent months, but they've decided to stick with the PGA.

Now the Telegraph is reporting that Ryder Cup duo Fleetwood and Hojgaard have also turned down an offer worth '10s of millions'.

The report states that LIV are continuing with their aggressive attempts to bolster their roster for the 2024 season.

But it's said that LIV are now turning their attention to Tyrrell Hatton, who enjoyed a successful partnership with Rahm at the 2023 Ryder Cup.

Rahm is yet to confirm who will be on his LIV Golf team for the 2024 campaign.

Reports have indicated that young amateur Caleb Surratt is in contention to team up with the Spaniard.

Kieran Vincent has also been strongly linked as another player set to be named in Rahm's team, leaving one more space to fill.

Hatton's camp denied speculation that the Englishman was going to follow Rahm to LIV Golf just last month.

"There's nothing in it," they said.
