Paddy McGuinness has admitted he's been left 'devastated' by the BBC's decision to ditch A Question of Sport.
The broadcaster recently confirmed the show wasn't in production, saying in a statement: "Due to inflation and funding challenges, difficult decisions have to be made, therefore Question Of Sport is currently not in production at the moment."
McGuinness became presenter of the show in 2021 after the departure of Sue Barker.
Less than two years on, however, and it's unclear what the future holds for the programme and the staff involved.

McGuinness has now appeared on the Stick to Football podcast, where he talked with the likes of Ian Wright, Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
And the comedian has admitted he finds the BBC's decision 'devastating'.
"Oh my god," he said when quizzed on the cancellation of the programme by Neville.
"Absolutely devastated (it got cancelled).
"It's like in management, football, you go in, do your best, and that's that.
"But telly, you can be involved with a show and it'll run and run, or it'll finish and you move on, that's just the nature of the beast."
McGuinness has predicted it will be back on screens one day, however.
And he's also shed light on how much he enjoyed his role.
"But when Question of Sport, when they stopped it - and honestly think whether it's captains, me, whatever it is, whatever the reason, they say it's budget stuff, but it's all kind of stuff - I just think, it's going to come back," he added.
"Because I'm a fan of it.
"Being around sportspeople, three lots of shows every day, sportspeople - from sports I wouldn't take much interest in, badminton or whatever - I loved it.
"It's one of those ones where it's a heritage show - it's like Match of the Day, I know other football shows are available - but there are certain shows you watch and you go, 'god'.
"When I got that call I never hesitated.
"I loved it, and I really hope, whether it's me or anyone else, it comes back."
Meanwhile, Barker revealed A Question of Sport was her favourite show in an interview earlier this month.

And she, like McGuinness, is hoping the programme will continue again one day.
She told The Telegraph: “I’m incredibly sad that my favourite show has been axed.
“I loved watching it with my dad as a kid and then had the privilege of taking over the host’s chair in 1997.
“From there I had 24 fun-filled years presenting it with the very best captains. I truly hope it will return one day.”
Barker has previously claimed her departure from the BBC show was 'insulting'.

But she still holds the programme in high regard.
“Obviously I am massively disappointed as it is a show that has meant so much to me," she told the Daily Mail.
