Travis Kelce has invested $49,000 (£40,000) in extensive security upgrades at his $6million (£4.7m) Kansas City mansion following a break-in last year.
The NFL star has installed 10 cameras and new lighting systems alongside motion detectors, costing approximately $31,500 (£24,500).
Kelce has also acquired two guard dogs at a cost of $7,100 (£5,700) as part of the comprehensive security overhaul.
The significant security investment comes as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end prepares for next weekend's Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The October break-in resulted in substantial losses for Kelce, including $100,000 (£78,500) in jewellery and $20,000 (£15,700) in cash.
The thieves also stole his first Super Bowl jersey, a particularly sentimental item for the Chiefs star.
A valuable watch taken during the burglary was later recovered by police in Providence, Rhode Island in November.
The incident occurred on the same day that his teammate Patrick Mahomes' home was also targeted by burglars.
Sources close to Kelce say he remains "really bothered" by the incident at his home.

"Travis felt the urgency of taking care of this situation as soon as possible. It was very uncomfortable to deal with," a source told The Sun.
The source added: "Travis decided to do things the best way, investing money on alarms and security personnel and dogs to put himself in the safest situation possible. All he wants is to be safe."
"Travis' house is a sanctuary for him and his family and loved ones. He doesn't want to go through a bad situation like the robbery ever again."

The NFL has warned all teams that an international crime ring could be behind the series of break-ins targeting high-profile athletes.
The FBI is currently investigating the crime wave, which extends beyond American football.
Other victims include Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and NBA star Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.
The pattern of targeted burglaries has raised concerns about organised criminal activity specifically aimed at professional athletes' homes.

Kelce has yet to speak publicly about the burglary incident.
His teammate Mahomes briefly addressed the situation, stating: "It's frustrating, it's disappointing. I can't get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing."
The Chiefs are set to fly to New Orleans on Sunday, meaning Kelce will be away from his newly secured home for about a week.
A victory over the Philadelphia Eagles would make Kelce and the Chiefs the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three consecutive titles.
