Luke Littler has made history in reaching the World Darts Championship final.

Luke Littler has revealed what his meal plan will look like ahead of the World Darts Championship final after beating Rob Cross in devastating fashion.

The 16-year-old sensation was at his very best to beat an in-form Cross in front of a raucous Alexandra Palace crowd on Tuesday evening.

The 2018 world champion gave Littler arguably his toughest test and averaged over 100 in the entire match to match the teenager sweat.

Littler cut a frustrated figure at points as he went through a spell of missing on the double and had a large number of trebleless visits.

But once the St Helens Darts Academy graduate found his groove then there was no stopping him and Cross could do nothing.

Littler finished with an average of 106 in one of the best semi-final displays in PDC World Championship history.

He'll now face either Luke Humphries or Scott Williams in tomorrow's final and Littler plans to eat well before the biggest match of his life.

"I'll do what I've been doing," he said.

"In the morning, go for a ham and cheese omelette, then come here have a pizza and then practice!

"That's what I've done every day."

Cross showed his class immediately after the match by congratulating Littler on stage in a warm embrace.

And the teenager revealed the kind words he received from his opponent while still unable to take in what he's achieved.

He added: "No words! Crazy to think I'm in a World Championship debut in my final.

"I was happy winning one game but I could go all the way!

"You're playing Rob, he's a world champion and won on debut.

"Rob told me 'God bless, you're a step away, do it'.

"I've just settled on the stage.

"It took me a few legs to settle in the game and once I found that rhythm I was good to go!"
