Luke Littler has already made a small fortune from darts after his incredible run to the World Darts Championship final.

Luke Littler may have lost the World Darts Championship final, but he's picked up a cheque for £200,000 in prize money and that is only set to rise even further in 2024.

The teenage darts sensation has taken Alexandra Palace by storm over the festive period, beating two former world champions on his way to the final.

His semi-final victory over Rob Cross saw Littler move one step away from darts biggest prize.

Luke Humphries proved too much in the final to deny him winning £500,000, but Littler has secured £200,000 for his fairytale run.

It's a huge increase from the prize money Littler had won from his time on the PDC Development Tour last year.

He took home just over £20,000 from winning five seperate events on the junior tour.

Littler then won the biggest payday of his young career by winning the World Youth Championship for £10,000.

He also took home a cool £2,500 for his run at the UK Open earlier on in 2023.

If Littler goes on to be crowned the world champion at Alexandra Palace on Wednesday evening then his net worth will increase to more than half a million.

But that looks set to be just the start of an extremely lucrative year for the 16-year-old.

Reports have suggested that Littler will be picked as one of the eight players for the Darts Premier League this year.

The prize pot for the Premier League is set to remain at £1million with the winner of the invitational taking home £275,000.

An extra £10,000 is also given to the weekly winner of the 16 events from February to the end of May.

Littler will also have access to the huge sums of money available on the PDC Tour for at least the next two years.

That will see the teenage superstar play in the Players Championship and European Tour throughout the year.

Winning one of the Players Championship tournaments awards £12,000 in prize money.

In 2023, there were 30 Players Championship events with tournaments held in England and Germany.

With sponsorship deals and PDC Tour events to come, along with the riches of the Premier League, Littler could comfortably end the year being worth over £1million.
