Logan Paul has announced his retirement from WWE, declaring "I'm retired. I'm a dad, bro" during the latest episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast.

The 29-year-old YouTuber-turned-wrestler made the surprising statement when asked about his potential involvement in WrestleMania 41, set to take place in Las Vegas next April.

The announcement comes just months after Paul's last WWE appearance, raising eyebrows across the wrestling community.

Paul's last WWE appearance came at SummerSlam in August, where he lost the United States Championship to LA Knight.

The defeat marked the end of his 273-day reign as champion, during which he had defended the title just twice since claiming it from Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel in November 2023.

Prior to the championship loss, Paul had suffered a defeat to Knight in a Money In the Bank qualifier on SmackDown in June, featuring Santos Escobar.

Paul's retirement announcement follows a significant personal milestone, as he became a father in September 2023 with his fiancée Nina Agdal.

The couple welcomed their daughter Esme, announcing her arrival in a joint Instagram post stating: "Esme Agdal Paul has entered the chat."

Paul initially found the prospect of fatherhood "daunting", telling Extra it took him three days to adjust to the idea.

"The idea of having a girl now is awesome, I'm in love with it. I can't imagine anything else," he shared.

However, the finality of Paul's retirement announcement remains unclear, with his co-host Mike Majlak suggesting he's merely "taking time off."

Paul appeared to agree with Majlak's interpretation, casting doubt on whether this truly marks the end of his wrestling career.

The timing is particularly notable as WWE prepares for a significant transition, with Monday Night Raw moving to Netflix in January.

The streaming platform's involvement could potentially influence Paul's future involvement, given his recent connection to Netflix through his brother Jake's boxing match.

Paul's WWE journey began impressively in April 2022, making his in-ring debut alongside The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38.

Since then, he has competed against numerous high-profile opponents including Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes.

His last victory came at WrestleMania when he successfully defended the US Title in a Triple Threat match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

Despite his limited experience, Paul quickly adapted to professional wrestling, earning several Rookie of the Year accolades.
