The two men will battle it out for glory tonight, with Littler the underdog due to his young age.
And as their showdown at Alexandra Palace creeps closer, a throwback picture on social media has emerged.
Back in 2019, Littler played against Humphries and lost - but said he'd given his opponent a 'great game'.
"Lost out in quarterfinals last night at Hayling Island comp to @lukeh180 missed a few chances to go ahead and a bull for a 164 but gave him a great game," he said at the time on X.
"2 Youth comps today Under 14’s and Under 18’s hopefully make tomorrow’s finals on stage @bucker1980 @lisa_littler."
Darts fans have reacted to the post, with one user saying: "This is what I thought a 16 year old Luke Littler would look like."
A second said: "Now they play in a world championship final. Unreal."
A third weighed in by saying: "Some photo that!"
"Time to settle the score tomorrow Luke good luck you got this fella," said a fourth.
And a fifth said: "Class he is little there."
Littler was delighted after making the final of the competition.
And he's admitted he'll have an omelette and pizza before he steps out at the oche.
"I'll do what I've been doing," he said.
"In the morning, go for a ham and cheese omelette, then come here have a pizza and then practice!
"That's what I've done every day."
