Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, made headlines at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event in Marbella, Spain, over the weekend.
The Irish fighter, who is a part-owner of BKFC, attended the promotion's Spanish debut, which saw Franco Tenaglia clinch the lightweight title in the main event.
McGregor's presence at the event was marked by controversy, both during and after the fights.
In a surprising turn of events, the 36-year-old also announced his long-awaited return to the UFC, revealing plans for a bout against Dan Hooker in Saudi Arabia on 1 February 2025.
McGregor's antics continued at the after-party, where he was caught on camera dancing with a woman sporting long blonde braids and a championship belt.
Footage shows the UFC star pulling the woman's hair before his fiancee, Dee Devlin, intervened.

Devlin stepped between the pair, prompting McGregor to laugh and briefly converse with her.
The incident didn't end there, as McGregor then grabbed Devlin's hair in a similar manner.
Britain Hart, identified as the BKFC women's strawweight champion, later defended McGregor's actions, stating on social media: "Dude he just loves me as a fighter and little sis and f***s with us".

McGregor's generosity was on full display during the event. In a surprising move, he announced he would double the purses for both fighters in the main event, as well as offer bonuses to others on the card.
The UFC star declared, "What we are going to do for these gentlemen, as well as a bonus, is double their purse.
"They are getting double pay! That's damn straight!"
This unexpected gesture drew cheers from the crowd and shock from fellow BKFC co-owner Dave Feldman.
McGregor added, "Well done gentlemen, you are getting double pay and bonuses. Thank you for your service."
McGregor's announced comeback fight against Dan Hooker is set for 1 February 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

Hooker, currently ranked fifth in the UFC lightweight division, is riding a three-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Mateusz Gamrot in August.
The New Zealand native expressed his readiness for the bout, telling The Mirror: "I've got an opponent early next year that I'm focused on, he's just a busy man."

Hooker acknowledged McGregor's numerous business ventures, adding, "We're kindred spirits, as you can say.
"We get along quite well. I think we're both very similar."
