LATEST SPORTS NEWS:

In September 2024, she was appointed vice-chair of the Rugby Football League, alongside president Adam Hills.

Last year, Priim revealed she had considered leaving her broadcasting role after receiving abuse on social media.

"I love what I do. I absolutely love every second of it," she said. "But is it worth the day or two where I have cried?"

She described receiving direct messages from people threatening to "slit my throat because I didn't like their team."

Priim said she contemplated stopping at the end of last year but continued after remembering "the people who employ you are the ones whose opinions matter."

She added that while "90 per cent of the time it's okay," the other "10 per cent can be a really rough ride."
