Team GB swimming star Adam Peaty has confirmed he will compete at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics while sporting a bold new moustache look.

Peaty revealed his decision to continue his Olympic journey at the British Swimming Championships.

Peaty explained that his four-year-old son George, from his previous relationship with Eirianedd Munro, is a key motivation for continuing his career.
He also cited potential future children with Gordon Ramsay's daughter Holly as driving his Olympic ambitions.
"Do I see winning as a gold medal? Or do I see winning as not giving up and being a good role model for my son?" Peaty told the BBC.

"If I retired post-Paris on something I deeply wasn't happy with - what message does that send to my future children?
"I want them not to give up when it does get tough. I want them to dig down, dig deep, work harder and find another way through that problem."
Peaty's decision to continue has been boosted by a significant development in Olympic swimming events.

The International Olympic Committee confirmed last week that 50m sprint swimming events will be included at LA 2028.
This addition plays perfectly to Peaty's strengths given he currently holds the world record in the 50m breaststroke with an impressive time of 25.95 seconds.
The new event gives the British champion another opportunity to showcase his dominance in the pool.

It also provides him with an additional medal opportunity at what would be his fourth Olympic Games.
The inclusion of sprint events has been widely welcomed by swimming specialists.
Peaty expressed enthusiasm about the new sprint event, saying: "It confirms my attempt to be at my fourth Olympic Games.

The swimming champion thanked World Aquatics for the decision.
"I have got a good feeling about these next three years," Peaty said, showing renewed determination.
