Gordon Ramsay shows true feelings to Adam Peaty after engagement to daughter Holly
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has made his feelings heard already on his soon-to-be son-in-law Adam Peaty.
The Olympics legend proposed to Ramsay's daughter Holly recently, which was gleefully accepted, after three years of dating.
Holly, 24, told the world of the new engagement on social media while Peaty also took to Instagram to post the news with a heart-wrenching message.
Along with a string of photos of the happy couple, he said: "I can’t believe you’re going to be my wife. I’m truly the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman by my side.

"You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.
"You have been with me when I’ve been at my lowest and helped me understand myself to navigate my own darkness.
"You have also celebrated the highs which have been so many, as for the first time in my life, I’m happy with the man I’ve become. You came to church with me and joined the incredible community we have there without a question.
"Your family have always treated me so generously with their time, emotion and trust. I can’t wait to be joined with them too.
"I’ve always believed that when two people are engaged and later married that we are no longer two people but we join as one and it’s the biggest privilege to share that with you.

"Seeing you show the love you give to the most important person in my life, George, even from day one, there was never a question about you becoming my wife one day.
"I’m looking forward to our life together and the many challenges we’ll face."
And welcoming him to the family has been Gordon, who replied to her daughter's post: "Congratulations to you both ! We’re over the moon and enjoy this moment ! Welcome to the family @adam_peaty."
Peaty has already accredited his future father-in-law with helping him in his career after he went through a dark period suffering from depression three years ago.

Speaking to The Sunday Times in April 2024, the three-time Olympics gold medallist said: "He [Ramsay] is an incredible energy to be around and an incredible person to have that guidance from. Gordon is a high performer.
"He worked his way up to the upper echelons of his industry and works in a place where there's no bulls**t.
"I take a lot from that and from the professionalism he has every single day with a relentless pursuit.
"So, when I see that, I'm like, 'Yeah, why can't I work like this? Why can't I do this every single day? Why do I have to be so emotionally engaged with things?'"

Peaty is one of Britain's most successful athletes having won six medals in total at the Olympics, winning gold in 2016 and 2020 in the 100m breaststroke in Rio and Tokyo.
The 29-year-old is also an eight-time World Champion and holds world records in the 50 metre and 100 metre breastroke and is regarded as arguably the greatest sprint breaststroke swimmer of all time.
However, in April 2023, Peaty withdrew from the British Swimming Championships after struggling with his mental health due to the pressure on him and turned to Christianity to help pull him out of his rut.
