Dame Laura has been candid about her previous fertility struggles, describing the period as "heartbreaking" and emotionally challenging.
Speaking on the High Performance podcast, she revealed: "I cannot tell you how low I felt for 18 months, with this desire to have another baby, and it consumed me."
The champion cyclist underwent surgery to remove a fallopian tube following her ectopic pregnancy in 2022.
"The miscarriage was one thing, the ectopic was another level of scariness," she shared, adding that she "never really processed that because all I ever wanted was another baby."
