The Harry Potter author was stinging in her criticism of the Algerian boxer
JK Rowling has reportedly deleted a 'trove' of tweets and gone silent on X following her recent criticism of Paris Olympics star Imane Khelif.
Khelif won gold out in France despite facing scrutiny over her gender.
The discredited International Boxing Association claimed Khelif previously failed a gender eligiblity test at the World Boxing Championships last year.
She was allowed to compete at the Olympics, however, with the Algerian proceeding to win gold.

Khelif has named Rowling in a cyberbullying lawsuit in France, as well as X owner Elon Musk.
The boxing star, who had participated at the Tokyo Olympics three years ago without any fuss, has long insisted she was born and raised female.
After being named in the lawsuit, Rowling hasn't tweeted.
And BroBible say the Harry Potter author has deleted a 'trove' of messages on social media regarding Khelif and her participation at the Olympics.
Rowling's reposts remain visible, however.
Her last act on X was to retweet an image of Turkey's Esra Yildiz Kahraman performing an 'X' chromosome gesture after her defeat to Lin Yu-Ting.
Lin, like Khelif, won gold in France despite questions over her gender.
But, also like her Algerian counterpart, she's fiercely hit back at allegations that she's not qualified to compete in women's sport.

Khelif said recently that criticism from the likes of Rowling, Musk and Donald Trump had 'affected her'.
While Trump isn't named in the lawsuit, the US presidential candidate is set to be investigated for his own online activity.
Khelif said: "Immediately after there was a lot of noise from politicians, athletes, stars, artists — Elon Musk and Donald Trump and that hurt me a lot, I cannot describe how scared I was.
"This affected me. I'm not lying to you, it affected me a lot. It hurt a lot.
