Man Utd crisis with 'simmering resentment' among players and Erik ten Hag doubts starting to grow

The Dutchman has overseen a nightmare start to the new season
Manchester United players are said to have growing doubts over Erik ten Hag's management of the club.
And it's also claimed there is 'simmering resentment' among certain players towards their team-mates, too.
The Red Devils were widely expected to challenge the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
But that hasn't happened, with United losing eight of their first 15 matches across all competitions.

Their season stooped to a new low on Wednesday night as the club lost 3-0 to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.
Goals from Miguel Almiron, Lewis Hall and Joe Willock inflicted yet another painful defeat on the Red Devils.
And, now, the Manchester Evening News say there's trouble off the field - as well as on it.
It's said dressing room sources claim doubts are growing over the 53-year-old's management.
Ten Hag is known for his touch approach, having come down hard on the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho throughout his reign.
Yet that now seems to be backfiring with the Dutchman starting to lose the support of his players.
It's also said there is 'simmering resentment' among certain players towards their team-mates.
No names are mentioned by the report.
However, some members of the United squad think Ten Hag has his favourites and doesn't treat everybody equally.
Players also have concerns over the direction of the club as well.
The Glazers announced last year they would be conducting a 'strategic review' of the club.
They have since opted for minority investment, though, instead of packing their bags and leaving for good.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to buy a 25 per cent stake in United, having realised he wouldn't be able to remove the Glazers from power.
But that has done little to placate a United dressing room that seems devoid of confidence, ideas and a will to win.
Ten Hag has insisted he's a fighter and won't quit, despite the club's season going from bad to worse.
“So I am a fighter and I know it is not always going to go up and we have a lot of setbacks this season," he said after the defeat to Newcastle.
“But also you have to deal with it and that is never an excuse.
“I have said that before. I know when there are setbacks but even then you have to get results.
"Sunday [and] tonight was far from that so we have to do things right at a certain level, the minimum level to win games.”
Former United star Gary Neville, however, thinks Ten Hag is destined to be sacked.
