Football fans all over the globe are gearing up for the beginning of the 2022 Qatar World Cup as temperatures drop across the UK.
The tournament will have a different feel this year as it kicks off in the lead up to the festive season as opposed to the summer, but that won’t stop millions of Brits tuning into the action.
The home nations are represented by England and Wales as they compete in the same group, while countries such as Brazil, France and Argentina will enter the competition among the favourites to leave Qatar with the trophy.
Broadcasters BBC and ITV will be sharing on the action on free-to-air TV.
Live action of two England group stage games will be available on BBC, as Gareth Southgate’s men take on Iran and Wales on the channel.
The primetime clash between England and the USA on the first Friday night of the tournament will be hosted on ITV.
Every game will be shown across the BBC and the ITV with their main channels showing every game for free.
BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub will also be showing the action.
