Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have gone public with their romance, sharing photos on social media on Sunday night.
The golf icon and Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife declared "love is in the air" in their announcement.
The couple's public declaration has sparked reaction, however, particularly regarding Woods' request for privacy about the relationship.
Dave Portnoy, chief of Barstool Sports, took issue with Woods' privacy request.

The media personality paused his March Madness betting activities to share his thoughts on social media platform X.
"Tiger asking for privacy for dating Don Jr ex wife is an all time ridiculous request," Portnoy wrote.
His blunt criticism came in direct response to the couple's announcement and their appeal for privacy as they embark on their relationship.
In their social media post, Woods shared two photos of the couple together.

"Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together," Woods wrote alongside the images.
He added: "At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."
This request for privacy appears to be what particularly irked Portnoy, prompting his critical response.
Woods, 49, and Vanessa, 47, have reportedly been together since Thanksgiving.

The couple both reside in Florida, living just 20 minutes apart in the wealthy Palm Beach enclave.
They were spotted together at a golf tournament last month, which fuelled speculation about their romance.
Their children attend the same educational institution, with Vanessa's eldest daughter Kai, 17, and Woods' children Charlie, 16, and Sam, 17, all studying at the £38,595-a-year The Benjamin School.
Woods reportedly called his ex-wife Elin Nordegren to inform her about the relationship with Vanessa Trump.

The call was described as "short and awkward", lasting only a few minutes.
According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Nordegren's initial reaction was: "Seriously? A Trump? For real?"
The insider added that she was "more amused than anything" and "really quickly just accepted it".
"Tiger and Elin are supportive of each other," the source said.
