The golf star will be hoping to win another major this weekend
Tiger Woods has revealed he struggled to sleep following the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump in America.
Woods is currently preparing to play at The Open, with the golf icon hoping to secure a first major since his victory at the Masters back in 2019.
On Saturday night, the world was stunned, and appalled, after an assassination attempt on Trump's life.
Alleged shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was shot dead at the scene by a Secret Service sniper, according to officials.

Woods and Trump are business partners and the golf star once designed a course for the former US President's property in Dubai.
Now, speaking to the BBC ahead of The Open, Woods revealed his golf plans were thrown into chaos by the news - and that he struggled to sleep after learning of the shooting.
"I didn’t accomplish a lot because I wasn’t in the right frame of mind," said the 48-year-old.
"It was a long night [because of the assassination attempt] and that’s all we watched the entire time on the way over here.
"I didn't sleep at all on the flight, and then we just got on the golf course."
As Woods prepares to grace Royal Troon, fans aren't sure what to expect from the golf icon.
He has been a shadow of the player he once was for a number of years, with injuries regularly preventing him from operating at the peak of his powers.
Colin Montgomerie, speaking earlier this week, called on Woods to retire. He said: "There is a time for all sportsmen to say goodbye, but it's very difficult to tell Tiger it's time to go.
"Obviously, he still feels he can win. We are more realistic."
But Woods has now hit back and insists he still feels capable of producing on the biggest stages of all.
"I wish I had a little bit more under my belt but I've been battling some stuff physically," he said.
"I want to save it for the majors. I don't want to burn myself out pre-major and not be able to play."

Meanwhile, Woods also revealed on Tuesday that he sent a text message of support to Rory McIlroy after his recent heartache at the US Open.
McIlroy had looked set to finally end a 10-year wait for a major at Pinehurst, only for Bryson DeChambeau to win instead.
And Woods has shed light on his message of support. Discussing his text, he said: "As you know, I'm your friend.
"I know this is a difficult moment. We've all been there as champions. We all lose.

"Unfortunately it just happened. The raw emotion of it is still there and it's going to be there for I'm sure some time.
"The faster he's able to get back on the horse and get back in contention like he did last week, the better it is for him."
