Jon Rahm was not happy with one particular spectator at LIV Golf United Kingdom.

Jon Rahm was visibly furious with someone in the crowd for the second round of LIV Golf's UK event at the JCB Golf & Country Club before his caddie stepped in to call them a 'd***head'.

Rahm was LIV Golf's most high-profile signing before the new season began earlier this year in a huge switch from the PGA Tour.

He's cut an agitated figure at times in his debut season on the new tour, including lashing out at the use of drones during the Nashville event last month.

The 29-year-old is still waiting for his first win on the LIV Tour but made a strong start at the JCB Golf & Country Club on Friday to take the lead after the first round.

He struggled to replicate that same form on Saturday as HyFlyers GC star Andy Ogletree made his charge of the leaderboard with a bogey-free six-under-par round to take top spot.

Rahm was still in close contention on the back nine and back-to-back birdies on holes 13 and 14 put him 10-under for the tournament.

However, that was followed by a bogey on the 15th before being out of position on the 16th in the thick rough for his third shot.

Rahm appeared distracted by the loud noise emanating from the stands as he tried to focus on his chip shot and stepped back from his ball.

"Hey man!" Rahm could be heard shouting initially.

A loud shout from one spectator then infuriated Rahm just as he was about to step back to his ball as he stood there with his hands on his hips.

The two-time major champion's caddie, Adam Hayes, then waded in to berate the rowdy spectator.

"Yeah, it's 'Golf but Louder' but not when you're yelling in our f***ing backswing, d***head," he said.

LIV Golf commentator Jerry Foltz also added his own view on the matter, adding: "We've all thought it."

Rahm eventually made bogey on the hole to take him back to eight-under par for the tournament before he finished with a birdie.

The 29-year-old sits three shots off the lead going into Sunday's final round with Tyrell Hatton, Cameron Smith and Paul Casey also in strong contention.

It's neck-and-neck in the team leaderboard also with Rahm's Legion XIII team level with Smash GC on 21-under-par.

While Rahm is yet to win on the LIV Tour, he currently sits second in the overall standings for the season.

Joaquin Niemann is far out in front having won two events along with six other top-10 finishes.
