Sports writer Rick Reilly has spilled the beans on how Donald Trump gets away with 'cheating' on the golf course after he boasted about winning both trophies at the Trump International Golf Club in Florida this month.
The former president bragged on Truth Social, the platform he started after being banned from Twitter, about winning both the club championship trophy and the senior club championship trophy at his own course.
He wrote: “It is my great honour to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!
“A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting. The qualifying and match play was amazing … Very exciting, thank you!!!”

Reilly, who has previously played golf with Trump, has challenged the legality of the former president's win due to what he's experienced.
“He’s never won a championship at a course he doesn’t own and operate,” Reilly said on MSNBC.
“He’s played in Pebble Beach, he’s played in the Tahoe one, where there are rules and judges and cameras.
“And in those, he’s never finished in the top half.
“So he wins when anybody who disagrees that he won is out of the club. That’s how he gets it.”
Trump is also accused of getting a “turbo-charged golf cart that goes three times as fast as yours, so he’s always 200 yards ahead, and that gives him time to cheat.”
According to Reilly, that gives Trump the opportunity and the means to cheat by moving his own ball to a better lie and kicking his opponents' balls into bunkers.
“One time in L.A., he was playing $50 a hole with these three guys, he hits it in the pond. They see the splash,” Reilly said.

“By the time they get there, it’s in the middle of the fairway, and they’re like, ‘What the F, Donald?’ And he goes, ‘It must’ve been the tide.’”
Reilly, who has written a book about Trump's shameful antics on the golf course, also previously said that Trump 'cheats like a mafia accountant'.
