A host of names have been linked with taking over from Tuchel with Bayern desperate to get back on top of the Bundesliga after being knocked off their perch by Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Xabi Alonso ruled himself out of leaving Bayer at the end of the campaign while Julian Nagelsmann recently renewed his contract with the Germany national team.
Mundo Deportivo now report Bayern have turned their attention to Zidane with negotiations already said to be in the 'final stretch'.
An agreement is 'practically done' with Zidane reportedly already making transfer demands on who he wants to bring in.
Being able to fight for all major trophies is said to have made Bayern the 'most attractive option' for Zidane with Bayern expected to challenge for the Bundesliga title again next season as well as the Champions League.

The same can't be said for United heading into next season as they've fallen 13 points adrift of the Champions League places.
United have just six games remaining this season to climb back up the table and secure European football.
They also have a chance at winning silverware as they face Coventry for a place in the FA Cup final.

United fans have expressed their frustration with the squad in recent weeks for their poor results, but Ten Hag has urged supporters to get behind their team.
He said: "We are frustrated but we know also we can beat the best teams. We drew twice against Liverpool, we beat them in the FA Cup, we played very good against Chelsea.
"When we play to our levels we can achieve really high highs. Last season was last season. We want to achieve every season, we want to win trophies, we have a big opportunity. We are in a semi-final but it's a huge challenge."
