Former Premier League footballer Yossi Benayoun and his family have survived a terrifying grenade attack on their home in Israel.
The incident occurred at approximately 11pm on Sunday night when an individual on a motorbike threw a grenade through the door of Benayoun's residence.
The attack took place at the 44-year-old's home in Ramat Hasharon, an area situated just north of Tel Aviv.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene following reports of an explosion at the property.

The explosion caused minor damage to the entrance of Benayoun's home, but fortunately no one was seriously injured in the blast.
Benayoun was present inside the house with his family when the attack occurred.
The resulting fire was swiftly extinguished by emergency crews who rushed to the scene.
Police are treating the incident as a criminal attack rather than a terrorist event, according to reports from Israel.
Investigators from the Glilot station promptly arrived at the property and began their enquiries into the shocking incident.
Benayoun believes the attack was a case of mistaken identity, stating: "This is definitely a mistake - I have no doubt that the grenade was not aimed at my house."

The former midfielder initially thought the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder.
"At first I thought it was a gas cylinder explosion and we called the fire department," he explained.
"It was only when the police arrived at the house and found the remains of a grenade that we realised what really happened."
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident in a brief statement: "The police hotline received a report of hearing an explosion outside a house."
