Gibraltar are ranked 203rd in the world and haven't won a game since 2022.
Gibraltar have mocked Wales after managing to hold Rob Page's side to a goalless draw on home soil on Thursday.
The hosts are ranked 203rd in the world rankings with San Marino holding the bottom spot in 210th.
Gibraltar were on a 13-game losing streak heading into the match against Wales dating back to November 2022.
BBC Sport Wales' X account pointed out Gibraltar's dreadful form on social media before the game, which also stated how they had an aggregate of 0-50 in that timeframe.
But the post backfired for Wales as the Gibraltar Football Association issued a response on social media.

They quote-tweeted the original post with a GIF from the US Office show which read: "Bit awkward..."
The post has attracted close to two million views online with many praising the Gibraltar FA's level of trolling.
One person joked: "Nah being mocked by Gibraltar and Liechtenstein this is a new low for Wales football."
Another said: "Strong meme."
A third posted: "They had no one to Bale them out."
Wales head coach Page accepted the boos that were directed at his side at the final whistle, but insisted on looking at the bigger picture.
When asked whether he understood the frustration from Wales fans, Page replied: "Of course, it's Gibraltar, but let's put a bit of context on it.
"We were a penalty kick away from another qualification. I've said to the lads we need to manage expectations. Just because we've done what we've done in 2016 and qualified for a Euros and a World Cup doesn't mean - without some senior players - that we're going to automatically qualify.
"We've just got to work really hard to do it. We just missed out and this is the next game after that disappointment.

"The performances against Sweden and Poland were exceptional so I'm not going to get too carried away."
He added: "They are entitled to their opinion, absolutely. I get it, I completely get it.
"I'm a Welsh supporter as well as the manager, I'm disappointed.

"But I have to keep saying about the bigger picture and I'll probably get criticised for that.
"It's the bigger picture and we're not going to lose focus on what we've done.
"We've exposed some of the lads tonight, we've given them that reward and given them the games because they've been excellent being squad players and we've introduced some young players into the group."
