John Fashanu has welcomed the idea of a woman presenting Match of the Day and said the sport must welcome females.
Former Premier League star John Fashanu has thrown his support behind having a female presenter for Match of the Day after Gary Lineker revealed that he has quit the show.
On Tuesday, the BBC confirmed that Lineker had signed an 18-month extension - after his previous deal was due to expire at the end of this year.
