In a bizarre moment during Bournemouth's commanding victory over Southampton, Cherries forward Justin Kluivert handed his shirt to a home supporter at half-time - drawing cheers from both sets of fans.
The unusual gesture came with Bournemouth leading 2-1 at the break in what former Premier League striker Troy Deeney described as "one of the weirdest games" he had ever witnessed.
The south coast clash ultimately ended in a convincing 3-1 win for the visitors, who continued their impressive European charge by climbing to fifth place.
Goals from Dango Ouattara, Ryan Christie and Marcus Tavernier secured the comprehensive victory for Andoni Iraola's side.

The win moved the Cherries to within a single point of fourth-placed Manchester City.
Bournemouth's dominance was evident throughout, with Deeney noting the visitors were creating constant threats.
"They haven't even got to a point yet where it feels like they're about to take the handbrake off," the pundit told talkSPORT.
Southampton were forced into multiple last-ditch tackles to prevent further damage, with Deeney counting "five so far" in his notes.

Describing the unusual shirt incident, Deeney added: "We've just seen Kluivert, a Bournemouth player, go and give his shirt to a Southampton fan at half-time. And everyone was cheering."
"It's one of the weirdest games of football I've ever been at in my life. I think that's what you would call, Adrian, a heads-gone," he added.
The former striker was particularly struck by the moment, given it occurred during a fierce south coast derby with Bournemouth in complete control of the match.

Deeney delivered a scathing assessment of Southampton's performance during his talkSPORT appearance.
"They're really bad, Adrian. They are really, really bad," he stated bluntly.
The pundit revealed even his five-year-old son, who attended the match, was unimpressed with the home side.

"I just said to my five-year-old son, was that any good? And he said, 'Southampton are trash, Dad'," Deeney recalled.
"I can't see where they win. I think they will win a game, but I can't tell you how they're going to win that game or where the goals are going to come from."
Despite Bournemouth's impressive form, manager Iraola remained cautious about his team's lofty position.
"I don't care about the position right now," he said. "I continue with the same spirit. 43 points is a good amount but we need many more."

The Cherries boss insisted on maintaining focus on upcoming fixtures rather than the league table.
"We definitely deserve the results we are getting and this is not a given that you are going to perform the same way until the end," Iraola added.
"If we perform in the same way, we will be there and be close."
