Transfer rumours are already whizzing around in the early stages of the new year with Rashford, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah all in the news.
January is a notoriously hard month to do difficult business in - but not impossible.
There have been some gargantuan deals done in the past and there are some indications that more are on the horizon, particularly at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim's arrival at United has seen him make some big calls, including dropping Rashford from his line-up, as well as Alejandro Garnacho and Antony.
All three could leave before the end of the month but there is concrete interest in the England international, where he could move abroad.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's defensive crisis has signalled Enzo Maresca to dip his toes in the transfer pool but they might already have a ready-made solution - though he is out on loan.
Liverpool are also heavily in the news with Salah, Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk all out of contract in the summer.
Reds boss Slot has opened up on potential arrivals and also spoke out on Alexander-Arnold, who was subbed off against United on Sunday following a poor performance.
Rashford's attracting interest
With Rashford seemingly out of the picture at United, several clubs on the continent have taken interest in the forward.
AC Milan appear to be the frontrunners for his signature, where Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is now an exectutive at the club, has told Rossoneri chiefs that his old team-mate would be a fine investment.
However, the Italian giants are not the only ones interested in the 27-year-old with Borussia Dortmund also monitoring the situation.
Galatasaray have looked into a possible deal, too, but were knocked back by Rashford's team.

Chelsea recall an option
Long-term injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile have left Chelsea light in defence and they are looking at potential options this month.
One of them includes recalling Trevoh Chalobah from loan at Crystal Palace, where he has been a regular all season.
Chelsea tried their best to sell the centre-back last summer, even leaving him at home before jetting off on a tour of the United States.
Chalobah is not the only option, though, as Aaron Anselmino has already seen his loan at Boca Juniors cut short - however, it is more likely that he will be loaned out to a European or Championship team.

Slot's Liverpool admission
Liverpool boss Slot has hinted that signings could be made this January at Anfield, as well as speaking out on Alexander-Arnold's performance against United.
“You always look at the market. If there is a chance in the market, this club always tries," he said.
“But this team is in a good place. Unfortunately Joe Gomez is injured but he will be back in a few weeks... but all these players deserve trust."
On Alexander-Arnold, Slot said: “We were all disappointed by the way we played. Trent didn't play his best game, he's played so so so many games well for this club, like some others he didn't have his best game."
