The Football Association (FA) are set to slap a SEVEN match ban on Rodrigo Bentancur after making alleged racist remarks about South Koreans, reports say.
The midfielder made disparaging comments on Uruguayan TV earlier this year where he said that South Koreans 'are all the same'.
In June, the 27-year-old was asked for a Tottenham team-mate's shirt as he appeared on a show in his homeland.
Bentancur replied: "Sonny's?" - in reference to his team-mate Son Heung-min.

He went on to add that it could be Son's cousin because they 'more or less all look the same'.
According to the Daily Mail, Bentancur is likely to receive a seven match ban - which will come as a majot blow to Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou.
It comes after the FA confirmed that they had charged the Uruguay international after breaching rules and are close to confirming the level of his punishment.
Postecoglou has relied on Bentancur this season in midfielder where he has played in 10 of Tottenham's 11 Premier League matches this season.
The South American has already apologised profusely to Son, admitting he made a 'very bad joke'.
He said: "Sonny brother! I apologise to you for what happened, it was just a very bad joke!
"You know that I love you and I would never disrespect you or hurt you or anyone else! I love you brother!"
Speaking in September, Tottenham captain Son revealed that Bentancur was close to tears as he apologised over the alleged racial slur.
"At the moment because of the FA process I can't say much about it," said Son in September.
