Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is under pressure to turn things around.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is being tracked as a possible replacement for Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham, but they will likely face competition from some of Europe's biggest clubs.

The 42-year-old Spaniard, who took charge at the Vitality Stadium in summer 2023, has emerged as a target for Spurs, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

After a difficult start to his tenure, Iraola has transformed Bournemouth's fortunes, with the south coast club now challenging for Champions League spots.

According to TalkSPORT, Iraola has emerged as Tottenham's top candidate to replace Postecoglou should the north London club opt to part ways with the former Celtic manager.

However, Spurs' pursuit of the Bournemouth boss could face significant hurdles, with multiple clubs expressing interest in securing his services.

The Spanish manager's impressive transformation of Bournemouth has caught the attention of Tottenham's hierarchy, though they now face mounting competition for his signature.

Real Madrid have added Iraola to their shortlist of potential managers should Carlo Ancelotti depart the Santiago Bernabeu at the season's end.

The Spanish giants are also considering Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso, though the German club's CEO Fernando Carro recently indicated he expects Alonso to remain in place.

Madrid are currently thriving under Ancelotti and could secure both La Liga and Champions League titles this season, mirroring their 2023-24 success.

The Italian manager has publicly stated he has not made any plans regarding his future.

Manchester City have also been linked with Iraola, with Spanish outlet Fichajes reporting he could be considered if Pep Guardiola decides to leave.

Despite Guardiola recently signing a new long-term contract with City, the club's disappointing season has led to speculation about his future.

Iraola was previously on City's radar before Guardiola committed his future to the club, suggesting the Premier League champions view him as a potential successor.

With just 18 months remaining on his current Bournemouth contract, Iraola's future could become a subject of intense speculation.

Real Madrid would be confident in their ability to lure the former Athletic Bilbao and Spain international right-back to the Bernabeu, given his contract situation.

The mounting interest from multiple elite clubs suggests Bournemouth may face a challenge retaining their manager, whose tactical acumen has transformed the club into surprise Champions League contenders.

Bournemouth have a chance of leapfrogging City into fourth-place in the table this weekend if they beat Wolves and Guardiola's side lose to Liverpool.
