The former England star has provided his picks ahead of this weekend's matches

Ipswich Town will win the battle at the bottom of the Premier League this weekend, according to a former England legend.

Ex-Tractor Boy Terry Butcher will be at the crunch-clash between Ipswich and Wolves at Portman Road.

And the retired Three Lions defender is backing his old side to win 1-0.

If they do win the game it would put them just six points behind the Midlands club and massively boost their survival hopes.

Elsewhere, Butcher is backing Liverpool to take another huge step towards the title this weekend.

The Reds head to Fulham on Sunday as they race towards a 20th Premier League.

And Butcher, who works alongside the Motivational Speakers Agency, is backing Arne Slot’s men to follow up their win against Everton on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory at Craven Cottage.

Butcher is also backing Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs to triumph this weekend.

He is predicting the Saturday clashes between West Ham and Bournemouth and Aston Villa vs Notts. Forest will both end in draws. He’s also tipping Man Utd to get a point in their derby clash with Manchester City on Sunday at Old Trafford.

Looking ahead to Monday and Newcastle’s visit to Leicester, Butcher is predicting more misery for the Foxes.

He’s backing Newcastle to win out easy 3-0 winners at the King Power.

Read on below for his predictions in full.
