Gary Neville felt Mohamed Salah was fortunate to escape a booking in the first half of Liverpool's match against Chelsea.
Liverpool fans want Gary Neville booted off commentary for their games on Sky Sports after the Manchester United icon felt Mohamed Salah should have been booked for diving in the first half against Chelsea.
Arne Slot's side were hosting Chelsea at Anfield in a blockbuster Premier League with Liverpool hoping to return to the top of the table.
The game was finely poised in the first half with Salah causing trouble down Chelsea's left-hand side.
Levi Colwill was struggling to keep the Egypt international at bay and there were calls for a penalty from the home crowd after the Chelsea star challenged Salah inside the box.

The referee quickly waved away protests with replays indicating there was minimal contact from Colwill.
But Neville felt Salah should have been punished for simulation in trying to win Liverpool a penalty.
He said on commentary: "Why hasn't Salah been booked? He has thrown himself to the ground."
Former Premier League referee Mike Dean also agreed, adding: "Salah is looking for a penalty kick. It's definitely not a penalty.
"Because he's put his leg across, there is some contact but not enough for a penalty - and not enough to say it's simulation. It's the right decision in my opinion."
Liverpool fans reacted furiously online and called for Sky Sports to ban Neville from commentating on their games in the future.
One message read: "Someone please mute Gary Neville and Mike Dean."
Another moaned: "Neville looking a yellow for it but not james diving a minute before it."

One other furiously wrote: "@SkySportsPL get Gary Neville off of Liverpool games immediately!"
Another said: "Get Neville off comms. Exact same foul on salah and James but salah should be booked and James has done well."
