Roy Keane has cast doubt over Marcus Rashford's loan move to Aston Villa, questioning how the forward can rediscover his motivation at Villa Park.
The former Manchester United captain expressed his concerns during a heated debate on ITV about the 27-year-old's January transfer.
"If he has lost the hunger at United, how is he going to get it at Aston Villa?" Keane said bluntly.
The pundit described Rashford's departure as 'sad' but acknowledged it had been 'on the cards the last year or two'.

"When you lose the hunger it is hard to get it back," Keane added, emphasising his skepticism about the move.
Rashford's exit from Manchester United came after a significant breakdown in his relationship with manager Ruben Amorim.
Despite scoring in Amorim's first game at Ipswich, their relationship deteriorated rapidly.
The forward was dropped for the Manchester derby on December 15 and didn't feature for the club again.
Amorim publicly questioned Rashford's training standards, making a remarkable statement that he would prefer to play his 63-year-old goalkeeping coach.
The situation reached breaking point when Rashford gave a bombshell interview expressing his desire to leave following Amorim's arrival.
Ian Wright offered a contrasting perspective during the ITV debate, defending Rashford's choice of Villa.
The former Arsenal striker highlighted Villa's current strong performance, arguing against any disrespect towards the club.

'We know where United want to be, but he is going to a team performing better,' Wright stated. 'We can't disrespect Villa and what they have done.'
Wright remained optimistic about Rashford's prospects at Villa. "If he can go there and recapture his form, he is a good player," he said.
Keane, however, remained unconvinced, insisting: "You can't compare Aston Villa to Man United."
Keane expressed particular concern about Rashford's decision to remain in the Manchester area rather than seeking a complete change abroad.

"I thought he'd go abroad for a new environment," the pundit remarked on ITV.
He worried that Rashford's existing lifestyle would remain unchanged: 'He will still be based in Manchester, still have his crew around him, whatever.'
Wright attempted to defend the move, suggesting: "He has done great for United here but maybe it is time to leave."
But Keane maintained his position that a more dramatic change of scenery would have been more beneficial for the forward's career.
