Pep Guardiola cut a frustrated figure on the Manchester City bench after Real Madrid scored twice in just two minutes with assistant coach Juanma Lillo bearing the brunt of his anger.
City got off to the perfect start at the Bernabeu as Bernardo Silva caught the hosts napping with a cheeky free-kick inside two the opening two minutes.

Carlo Ancelotti was jumping around his technical area to celebrate with his coaching staff.
But Guardiola's mood was very different in the opposite dugout as he was seen arguing with Lillo.
The two appeared to be debating something with Guardiola emphatically arguing his point and Lillo waving his hands to seemingly disagree.
City's preparations were dealt a huge blow just hours before the big game in Madrid with Kevin De Bruyne named on the bench.
The Belgium international has been key to City's title charge since returning from his long injury lay-off and would have been expected to start against Real.
But Guardiola revealed before kick-off that De Bruyne was throwing up in the changing room just before the match started.
“He feels unwell," he said.
“We made a meeting, he was ready, and when we arrived, in the locker room he started to vomit and he said: 'I'm not ready'."
Speaking earlier this week, Guardiola looked back on City's previous meetings with Real with a rallying cry to his own side.
