Paul Scholes has brutally attacked Jesse Lingard on social media as the 31-year-old continues to struggle to find a new club.
The England international was once a key player for Manchester United under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Louis van Gaal.
However, he failed to live up to his earlier promise at Old Trafford before being cut loose in 2022.
Lingard toiled at Nottingham Forest last season and has struggled to find a new club in the time since.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad opted against a deal for Lingard.
And so too did West Ham, despite the playmaker shining during a loan spell at the London Stadium a couple of years ago.
Lingard has uploaded a picture of himself on Instagram training in the gym.
Scholes has now mocked the 30-year-old while also accusing the former United star of 'f*****g around'.
He wrote: "Are you just gonna f**k about in the gym or are you gonna actually play football?"
However, Lingard now appears to have deleted the comment.
"Where’s the Paul Scholes comment?" said one user.
A second wrote: "@paulscholesaaa where is your comment! Do it again!!!"
A third stated: "Who came here cos of the Scholes comment."
And a fourth said: "Paul Scholes. You have rocked my world."
Lingard is currently in Dubai.
And it's unclear what the future holds for a player who was once tipped to achieve greatness at United.
Lingard made 232 appearances during his time at Old Trafford, netting 35 goals in the process.
These included strikes in the 2016 FA Cup final, 2017 Community Shield and 2017 EFL Cup final.
Speaking after his departure from United last year, meanwhile, Lingard revealed he turned to alcohol to cope with problems at the club.

"I look back now and think, 'what was I doing that for?' I was trying to forget what was going on. But it makes it 10 times worse."
Lingard also admitted that he found the abuse from some fans too tough to take at a time when his mother was battling depression.
"To be abused like that tipped it. I didn't want to be on the pitch, I didn't want to play," he said.
