GB News' Paul Coyte and Spurs goalscoring legend Clive Allen give their predictions ahead of this weekends Premier League fixtures.

With a crucial weekend ahead in the Premier League, Paul Coyte and Clive Allen sat down to dissect the latest fixtures and give GBN members their predictions.

Spurs legend Clive began by discussing how he goes about his predictions saying "I must admit that when I look at the fixtures, look at the different games, obviously you're looking at their form and and the way the teams are playing, the runs that they're on, obviously their positions in the league as well.

"But there's sometimes it's just that gut feeling where you think, you know what, I know they're not playing well, but I think today they're going to get a result. So, yeah, I love it. I've always done it and I love it."

Before getting stuck into their predictions Paul spotted an iconic trophy on Clive's cabinet saying "Now, I've got to say, though, that just over your shoulder there, I can sort of just see that very large trophy. Now, I'm guessing, 1987? Am I far off the mark there, Clive?"

Clive replied "You're spot on, Paul. I think, the most prestigious trophy in my collection, without a doubt. The PFA award. Obviously, when you're voted by your fellow peers, as the player of the year. There were two team mates in the last six, Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle, who were unbelievable players. Ian Rush from Liverpool as well, who was obviously a magnificent, incredible goalscorer. So yeah, I think I have to say one of my proudest possessions."

Now into this weeks predictions...

Brighton vs Chelsea

Clive: 0-1

"I think that was a great result against Chelsea in the FA Cup. They'll be buoyed by that. But I think Chelsea will turn this one around."

Paul: 1-2

"I think Brighton will score at home - 1-2. So we both agree on an away win.

Leicester vs Arsenal

Clive: 0-2

"I think it's a massive game for both clubs. Leicester where they find themselves, they've got to start picking up points. They've got to win, home games are the best chances, getting three points in home games. Arsenal lost Havertz, which I think is is a real blow considering the number of forwards injured, who they're going to play down the middle, who's going to lead their line, who's going to score their goals. But I still see Arsenal being too strong for Leicester."

Paul: 0-3

"Leicester, all sorts of trouble their in 18th. Arsenal need to keep winning if they're going to put the pressure on Liverpool. I'm going to say three nil Arsenal."

Aston Villa vs Ipswich

Clive: 2-0

"Aston Villa have made some decent signings. I think they've bolstered their squad. I think that you know their Champions League campaign is good. I think they're in a decent position. They'll be striving for for European football again. And I think it's a crucial time for Ipswich. The next 4 or 5 games, they have to get results and this is a tough one away."

Paul: 2-0

"I mean, is there a wobble there with Aston Villa? But then again Rashford's come in as well. They've made some decent signings."

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest

Clive: 1-1

"Tight ground. Forest defending well, Fulham full of confidence after their their FA Cup result."

Paul: 1-1

"We know how well Forest have been doing. You know the 7-0 drubbing of Brighton. Fulham beat Newcastle away. So Fulham are looking good. They're in ninth place. Now this is a tough one to call isn't it."

Manchester City vs Newcastle

Clive: 2-1

"There's definitely a confidence factor in this with City's performances and results. They lost another two players the other night, but I just still think that they have that quality."

Paul: 1-2

"This is the first one we disagree with because I say Newcastle will win 1-2. I just think with City it's at the end isn't it. Again against Real Madrid I mean what happens. Is it concentration? Is it tiredness? Is it older legs? Because they seem to be conceding late."

Southampton vs Bournemouth

Clive: 0-1

I think Southampton will make it difficult. I think Bournemouth have been brilliant. I think they've been I've got to say, one of the surprise teams of the season so far under Areola. I like the way they play the players and the way that he uses his players. What he's getting out of them is he's absolutely incredible.

Paul: 0-3

"Even with injuries they still seem to be getting results. So I'm just going to tell you straight away. I'm going straight in with Southampton 0 Bournemouth 3."

Crystal Palace vs Everton

Clive: 1-0

"Yes, they've been revitalised with David Moyes going back. He's used all his experience. Although I see this being a difficult one at Palace at the weekend, because Palace have found a little bit of form. It's taken a while, but they're going. I think this will be quite a tight game."

Paul: 2-2

"When you were talking earlier about just having those funny feelings, I just got a funny feeling about 2-2."

Liverpool vs Wolves

Clive: 2-0

"They did have a couple sent off at Everton. So obviously that will change Arne Slot's thinking in terms of selection. But back at home I think they know how important it is just just to maintain that gap."

Paul: 3-1

"I think Wolves are going to get a goal. But I think Liverpool will win 3-1."

West Ham vs Brentford

Clive: 1-0

"I'm going to go West Ham. I think Brentford have been fantastic at home. Obviously, I think it's a difficult, tight game. I still think West Ham need a result."

Paul: 1-1

"West Ham 15th, Brentford are in 11th. Graham Potter joining West Ham and then you've got Brentford lost to Spurs at home. I'm going to go with 1-1."

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United

Clive: 2-1

"These two these two teams are not in the positions that they would be expected to be in, that they want to be in. Always a fierce, fierce encounter. And I think that will be the same Sunday as well."

Paul: 2-0

It's the big fight for 13th place in the Premier Premier League. So Spurs 14th. Things are not going so well. We can say the same about Manchester United. Spurs with so many injuries. I'm gonna have to stick with the 2-0."
