Neal Maupay hit back at James Maddison on social media after the Tottenham star roasted him following Wednesday's match in north London.
Maddison was not happy that Maupay copied his darts celebration but the striker has attempted to have the last word.
Tottenham came from behind to beat Brentford 3-2 and move up to fourth in the Premier League table, taking advantage of Aston Villa's loss to Newcastle 24 hours earlier.
Maupay had given the visitors the lead in the first half and made sure to celebrate in style, pretending to throw a dart towards the crowd.

Maddison has often used that celebration in the past and was aggrieved that the Frenchman was seemingly mocking him.
The England star grabbed his opponent and had a word on the pitch before the game resumed.
Brentford kept their lead until half-time but Spurs turned the game on its head in the space of two minutes after the break.
Destiny Udogie equalised before Brennan Johnson tapped in at the back post to put the hosts ahead.
Johnson copied Maupay with the same celebration before Richarlison did the same when he scored Spurs' third just seven minutes later.
Ivan Toney pulled a goal back for Brentford but Spurs saw out the win over their London rivals.
After the match, Maddison revealed what he said to Maupay in an interview with TNT Sports, poking fun at the 27-year-old's lean patch in front of goal in recent years.
Maddison said: "I just said to him he probably hasn't scored enough goals of his own in the last few years to have his own celebration so he had to copy mine.
"Short story, but it ended well for us anyway."
But despite losing, Maupay wouldn't leave the argument there and took to his Instagram page to respond.
He made reference to the relegation Maddison suffered with Leicester last season in a savage post.
Maupay wrote: "Went a bit early with that one. Gutted we couldn’t get the win.
"More goals and less relegations in my career than James Maddison. We go again Monday Bees."

Maupay also responded to Maddison's post on Instagram. The Spurs star posted three pictures on his account.
The first showed Maupay celebrating, the second was Maddison cheering and the third pointing out the result.
Maddison captioned the post: "A short story… COYS," accompanied with a crying with laughter emoji.
Maupay responded in the comments by writing: "Ahahah rent free."
Maddison was making his first Premier League start since the 4-1 defeat to Chelsea last November following a serious ankle injury.

He was pleased to make an impact on his return, stating: "It was lovely to be back.
"When you're injured and starved of doing what you love, that just reminded me why I love football so much, just being out there tonight.
"First half was stop-start, the kind of first half Brentford would have wanted, a lot of stoppages and set-pieces.
"In the second half, we had too much for them. It's never simple and plain sailing here, there's always a lot of goals at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium."
