Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has refused to write off Manchester City's chances of winning the Premier League title in the wake of the Reds' 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday.
Arne Slot's side went ahead in the 30th minute through Dominik Szoboszlai, only for the hosts to turn the match around following goals from Adam Armstrong and Mateus Fernandes.
Liverpool weren't to be denied, however, and levelled through Salah in the 65th minute.
And the Egypt international then grabbed his second goal of the game and the winner with just eight minutes left on the clock, with Salah scoring a penalty following a foul inside the box.

The result means Liverpool are now eight points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
City have lost their last five matches across all competitions and were thumped 4-0 by Tottenham on Saturday.
But Salah has refused to write them off, insisting Pep Guardiola's side have 'great players' capable of turning things around.
"They were very important, especially after being down 2-1," he said when asked about his goals.
"It's the most important thing to have won the game.
"Each game is different. They had a game plan and played very well. We managed to come back and win the game.
"I think we have a good game plan, we played our game and I was confident we would create chances.
"It's great. Hopefully, we keep going in that direction. We have a game against them so hopefully, we win it and go 11 points clear.

"Man City is Man City. They have a bad time now but they have great players."
Szoboszlai also opened up in the wake of the result.
And the Hungary international said he was proud of his team-mates given how they came from behind to win.
"They are a good team, good with the ball," he said. "They scored two quick goals but the most important thing was the reaction.
