The manner of the Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool, who finished the game with a makeshift XI featuring youngsters James McConnell, Bobby Clark and Jayden Danns, left many supporters furious with Pochettino.
Chelsea had a quick chance of redemption in the FA Cup with Pochettino keen for his side to put the Liverpool loss to the back of their mind.
However, it was far from convincing from a clearly nervous Chelsea side with Leeds taking the lead early on.
Goals from Nicolas Jackson and Mykhaylo Mudryk put Chelsea in front before the break but they still looked far from comfortable.
Leeds sensed a chance in the second half and found their equaliser on the hour mark with the game looking likely to head to extra time.
The home supporters were growing concerned with groans heard in the final stages at every failed attack.
Conor Gallagher saved Chelsea's blushes in the end with a well-taken finish inside the box deep into stoppage time.
But the result failed to win over some supporters who feel it's time Pochettino moves on.

One fan fumed: "Regardless of the win, Pochettino still has to go. The result changes absolutely nothing."
Another wrote: "We won and we're still in trouble with Pochettino in charge."
A third joked: "Gallagher saving Pochettino's managerial career at Chelsea."

Another posted: "Don't let this lucky win distract you from the fact Pochettino is mid and needs to be sacked."
Chelsea go up against another Championship side in the quarter-final after being drawn against Leicester City.
Coventry City are the only other non-Premier League side left in the competition and they will face Wolves in the quarter-final.
But the tie of the round is arguably Manchester United going up against Liverpool while Manchester City will be given a tough test against Newcastle.
