Two Premier League clubs have enquired about signing Mason Greenwood with Manchester United ready to listen to offers for the striker at around the £40million mark, reports say.
Greenwood was loaned to Getafe at the start of the season after mutually agreeing it would be best for him to resume his career in football away from Old Trafford.
The forward has since scored 10 goals in Spain, with only Borja Mayoral notching more.
Greenwood isn't expected to return to United, even if Sir Jim Ratcliffe previously opened the door to a shock return.
Mason Greenwood is of interest to two Premier League clubs amid uncertainty over his Man Utd future
There is a sense that, if he is sold by the Red Devils, it will be to a foreign club.
Yet the Telegraph say at least two Premier League clubs have enquired about Greenwood, though their names aren't disclosed.
United are willing to jettison the academy graduate for a fee in the region of £40m to £45m.
And several of Europe's elite are circling, with the 22-year-old not short of suitors amid his impressive form in Spain.
Atletico Madrid have publicly downplayed interest in Greenwood but the LaLiga giants are said to be keen on bringing the England international to the Metropolitano Stadium come the end of the current campaign.
Barcelona are admirers, too, though currently lack the financial muscle required to land Greenwood.
Real Madrid have also been watching the United forward, though aren't currently expected to challenge their rivals for his signature.
In Italy, Lazio and Juventus are in the mix to land Greenwood.
Lazio were actually keen on signing the 22-year-old on loan in the summer, only for Getafe to win the race instead.
Juventus, meanwhile, previously made the Greenwood family a huge offer to sign the forward as a teenager. Interest, it seems, remains.
Greenwood isn't the only player who could leave United this summer.
There are question marks over a number of individuals after a horrendous campaign over at Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho may not return having rediscovered his love of football during his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho helped the Bundesliga giants make the final of the Champions League on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain.
And Casemiro, Raphael Varane, Antony and Christian Eriksen could also be cut loose as United look to improve next term.

Regarding Greenwood, meanwhile, Getafe president Angel Torres has suggested United won't be keeping the forward.
And he also admits he'd love to keep Greenwood for another year at least.
"If it depends on the boy and the parents, he will continue another year," he said when asked about potentially re-signing the youngster.
"Manchester, the news we have from last week, the thing is that if there is a good offer they would like to sell. Because he is not going to return there.
"So we are going to have to wait a month and a half or two months, until the end of June.

"But it depends on him and the family. They are very comfortable and very happy with the fans.
"He had not played for 16 months when he arrived and we have recovered him, he has scored 8 goals in the League and 2 in the Cup and he has given a great performance.
"What I think is that he is going to stay. It's going to be another year or half a year, until January.
"This year starting from scratch can be a spectacle."
