Marcus Rashford's French girlfriend accused him of cheating on her while the Manchester United star was in Northern Ireland, according to reports.
The 26-year-old is in hot water with his team-mates after going clubbing on both Wednesday and Thursday night before saying he was too ill to train on Friday.
Rashford has reportedly been fined by United, who want standards to be raised following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of a 25 per cent stake.
And the Red Devils insist the matter is closed, with the forward in contention to face Wolves on Thursday.

Now, however, the Daily Mail have provided more details regarding Rashford's time in Belfast.
It's said his French girlfriend, who isn't named, accused the England international of cheating on her that night.
But Rashford was angry following those allegations, denying them, and then allegedly threw her clothes into the hotel corridor, with his other half then asking for a room to herself.
"Marcus and his group came back to the hotel sometime after 2am and went up to his suite," an insider is quoted as saying.
"He was with a woman who I thought was his girlfriend who was staying with him.
"But all of a sudden there was a lot of noise and raised voices when she apparently started accusing him of kissing another woman at Thompsons Garage nightclub.
"She was shouting at him and accusing him of not respecting her.
"Rashford's security got involved and got her out of the suite – and wouldn't let her back in.
"Guests were woken by the noise. Rashford himself then threw all her stuff out into the corridor – and closed the door on her.
"She ended up having to come to reception in tears asking for a separate room.
"Rashford clearly enjoyed himself in Belfast but the strange thing was he was paying for everything out of wads of cash he kept in a duffel bag."
Rashford's camp have denied the United forward had a bag full of cash, despite witnesses saying otherwise.
News of the forward having a French girlfriend suggests his relationship with Lucia Loi is now well and truly over.
The pair have been on and off for several years and, in November, there was talk of them getting back together.
Rashford arrived at United's Carrington training complex for crunch talks with Erik ten Hag and John Murtough earlier in the week.

But he's now set to face his 'angry' team-mates for the first time today.
United are allegedly prepared to offer Rashford counselling if their No 10 reaches out.
The player was outstanding last season, netting 30 goals in 56 matches as he rediscovered his best form.
Goals have been harder to come by, however, with the United star scoring just four times this term.
United legend Rio Ferdinand has apparently reached out to Rashford amid his dwindling form.

And the Red Devils icon, speaking on his Five podcast, says the England international isn't behaving like an 'elite sportsman'.
"You have to have that self-awareness... 'am I putting myself in a position where people could pick at me?' or 'I could be tripped over here'," he said.
"So if you are going to go in on a Friday training session and arrive back that morning, that's not really - if you are talking about elite sportsman - is that the right prep?
"That's the first question that I ask. I'd say no."
