Manchester United chiefs are involved in a blame game row behind the scenes ahead of Ruben Amorim's first match in charge, according to reports.
The Red Devils are currently preparing for Sunday's clash with Ipswich as they gear up for the start of yet another new era.
United recently axed Erik ten Hag, with the Dutchman paying the price for an abject start to the new season.
The 54-year-old was retained back in the summer after guiding the fallen giants to FA Cup glory with a shock 2-1 victory over Manchester City back in May.

But United were then left red-faced when they had to axe Ten Hag at the end of last month.
Now, according to The Sun, United chiefs are involved in a row over who was to blame for their shambolic summer decision.
While Ten Hag won two trophies with United, they never looked like challenging the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool for Premier League title glory.
They finished third in his first season at the helm before falling to eighth last term, in what represented their worst-ever Premier League finish.
On top of sacking Ten Hag, United were also forced to get rid of his backroom staff.
It has cost them £15million to cut their former manager loose, while they've also had to fork out £10m in order to land Amorim from Sporting Lisbon.
United fans were hoping Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of a minority stake would lead to better and brighter days ahead.
But they've continued to fall off in the time since and it's abundantly clear that Amorim has a massive job on his hands.

Ruud van Nistelrooy won three of his four matches in charge of United on an interim basis.
Yet he's also left Old Trafford, with Amorim opting against keeping the club legend on as his No 2.
United chiefs are also unhappy with their summer signings and how they've fared in English football so far.
Joshua Zirkzee's sole goal for the club came in a 1-0 win over Fulham on matchday one, with the Netherlands international toiling in the time since.

Matthijs de Ligt has struggled to adjust to life in the Premier League, while Leny Yoro is yet to play having picked up an injury back in the summer.
Meanwhile, speaking recently to GB News, former United star Wes Brown backed Amorim to turn things around.
"You only have to look at his managerial career to see he has done an excellent job so far," he said.
"To achieve the success at Sporting Lisbon that he has, is very good and from what I have seen, in his interviews, he looks a very confident person, smiling, engaging and his players perform for him and want to do well.

"You also look at how he handles the press, he has a warm feeling about him, so the players will like him.
"I believe the club would have done their analysis on choosing Amorim, so they will be confident they have the right man to lead Manchester United to improving."
