Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes came to the rescue of a fellow passenger who fainted during an EasyJet flight from Manchester to Lisbon on Monday.
The Portuguese midfielder was travelling alongside teammate Diogo Dalot when he noticed a man passing out at the back of the plane.
Fernandes immediately sprang into action, urgently calling for assistance by shouting: "Excuse me! We need help! Excuse me! We need help!"
The incident occurred while Fernandes was visiting the toilet area at the rear of the aircraft, where he discovered the distressed passenger.

Crew members quickly responded to Fernandes' calls for assistance, rushing to the back of the plane.
The Manchester United captain helped guide the unwell passenger to an available spare seat at the rear of the aircraft.
Showing genuine concern, Fernandes remained with the passenger and crew members to ensure the situation was under control.
According to fellow passenger Susanna Lawson, who witnessed the incident, Fernandes stayed at the back of the plane for approximately 5-10 minutes while helping the distressed traveller.

The footballer maintained a low profile throughout the incident, not seeking any attention for his helpful intervention.
"When I asked him politely for a selfie as we were leaving the plane he was absolutely lovely and actually took the selfie himself," Lawson told Business Cloud.
Lawson, who was travelling to Web Summit where Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada is due to speak, praised Fernandes for his care of the ill passenger.
"Honestly if you didn't know who he was you would have just thought he was any other passenger," she added.
