Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has admitted to apologising to Erik ten Hag after he got sacked last week - but Roy Keane was having none of it.
The Dutchman, who was handed a contract extension in the summer, was axed on Monday with the Red Devils 14th in the Premier League.
His No. 2 Ruud van Nistelrooy has been placed in interim charge with Sporting boss Ruben Amorim signed to replace him over the next international break later this month.
Under the Dutchman, United beat Leicester by five goals - a feat never managed under Ten Hag.
