Liverpool star Alisson takes aim at Nottingham Forest tactics after defeat - 'Only wanted to defend'

Liverpool star Alisson has blasted Nottingham Forest's tactics after his side's 1-0 defeat at Anfield on Saturday.
The Reds had entered the showdown as the favourites to reign supreme, having won all three of their previous Premier League matches.
But Liverpool weren't at the races, with Callum Hudson-Odoi netting the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute to spring a major upset.
Speaking after the game, Alisson admitted that Forest defended well.

Yet he also criticised their tactics, insisting they were only focused on defending and playing long ball football.
"It was a shame, losing points at home is not good at all but the opponent today only wanted to defend and play for the long ball," he said.
"We gave them that too easily when they scored, it was poor defensively from us.
"We couldn't create much, we had a lack of quality today, we needed more energy.
"It is three points we have lost today unnecessarily.
"All the opportunities we had were not clear enough and they defended great, they threw themselves in front of the ball."
Forest, however, are unlikely to care.
They have waited 55 long years to beat Liverpool at Anfield and, now, they're dreaming of more big scalps.

Nuno Espirito Santo admitted that Forest were 'against the ropes' at times as Liverpool sought a goal.
Yet he was understandably delighted after securing the biggest victory of his tenure so far.
"The players did it so well, we were against the ropes but we stayed in the game and found our moment," he said.
"I am really happy for the boys.

"Liverpool are so good, you cannot play them and ignore the quality they have.
"Defensively we were really good. It was impossible for our wingers to last 90 minutes, they had to track the runners so we needed fresh legs in the second half.
"We played well, we controlled the game in the right moments and harmed them.
"This is a moment to enjoy for our fans. It doesn't last long but our fans are amazing and this is a big help for the players."
