Jude Bellingham rivals Cristiano Ronaldo with YouTube channel but fails on one count
Jude Bellingham has followed in Cristiano Ronaldo's footsteps by launching his own YouTube channel.
But not everyone has the same pull as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, not even Bellingham, arguably the best young player in the world right now.
While Ronaldo broke records over how quick he reached 1 million subscribers, the England international's own subscriber count was nowhere near as quick.
After two hours, Bellingham reached just over 100,000 subscribers - a number certainly not to be sniffed at.

But Ronaldo, who is on over 82 million subcribers at the time of writing, reached a million subscribers after one hour.
Bellingham made the announcement that he was launching his own YouTube channel on social media on Thursday afternoon.
The 21-year-old has been secretly filming his first year at Real Madrid after his blockbuster transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2023.
And he is set to share his memorable year with fans on YouTube, where he won the Champions League and La Liga in his debut Bernabeu season.
He wrote on X: "Hi everyone, I've been recording behind the scenes footage of my journey throughout the last year.

"Now, I'm finally ready to share my life ‘Out of the Floodlights’ with you all. Starting 12th September, I’ll post four weekly episodes on my new @YouTube channel: ‘JudeBellingham’.
"They’re accessible anytime and free to watch. I hope you enjoy them and don't forget to subscribe."
But fans immediately thought he was following the trend set by Ronaldo, who launched his YouTube page two weeks ago.

One fan wrote: "Ronaldo opened YouTube channel and Jude Bellingham got one after.
"At this point, everyone should accept that Ronaldo is the most influential person ever."
A second said: "Following Ronaldo aye?"
And another said: "Ronaldo has started a trend once again. The most influential person in the world."

While Bellingham only has one video on his page, Ronaldo already has 16 - all of which have accumulated millions of views.
The former Manchester United star's last post was released two days ago and is based around his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
However, there are rumours that the couple got secretly married after eagle-eyed fans spotted the two wearing rings.
