Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been handed a two-match ban following his red card against Osasuna last Saturday.
The England international will miss Sunday's crucial La Liga home fixture against Girona.
He will also be unavailable for Real Madrid's Copa del Rey semi-final first-leg clash with Real Sociedad.
The suspension was confirmed on Wednesday, just hours before Madrid's Champions League match against Manchester City.
Bellingham was shown a straight red card in the first half of Saturday's La Liga match against Osasuna.
Referee Jose Luis Munuera Monteo dismissed the midfielder following an alleged verbal incident.
The official accused Bellingham of shouting an expletive in his direction, a claim which the player has denied.
The dismissal left Real Madrid with 10 men for the remainder of the match.
Bellingham has strongly defended himself against the referee's accusations.

Getty"It's clear that I said it when I've already turned away," the midfielder explained. "It's difficult when he says it's an insult when I haven't insulted him."
The England star pointed to video evidence that contradicts the referee's report.
"I'm glad the videos are out and there's evidence that goes against what the referee put in the report," he said. "It's clear that there was a communication error."
Bellingham likened his expression to the Spanish word 'joder', insisting it was meant for himself rather than the official.
Despite the suspension, Bellingham remains available for tonight's Champions League clash with Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The crucial second-leg match sees Real Madrid defending a 3-2 advantage from the first encounter.
