The football legend could now face a ban for his actions

Galatasaray have brutally mocked Jose Mourinho with a bizarre social media video following their 2-1 victory over Fenerbahce.

The extraordinary clip depicts a cartoon version of the Portuguese manager complaining about decisions at a press conference.

It then shows Mourinho lying in bed crying after receiving news of Galatasaray's derby win.

The video concludes with Mourinho waking up sweating in what appears to be a psychiatric ward.

The post seemingly suggests Galatasaray had driven Mourinho "crazy" after his team crashed out of the Turkish Cup.

The incident occurred during Wednesday night's heated Istanbul derby in the Turkish Cup quarter-finals.

Mourinho sparked outrage by pinching the nose of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk during the match.

Buruk fell to the floor after the contact, clutching his face as players from both sides rushed in and tempers boiled over.

The nose-pinching triggered a mass brawl that resulted in three players being sent off.

Fenerbahce's Mert Yandas and Galatasaray pair Kerem Demirbay and Baris Yilmaz all received red cards in the chaotic scenes.

Galatasaray secured a 2-1 victory in the match between Turkey's top two teams.

Victor Osimhen was the hero for Galatasaray, scoring both goals for his side.

Sebastian Szymanski netted the only goal for Fenerbahce in the quarter-final clash.

The result means Fenerbahce have been eliminated from the Turkish Cup competition.

This is not the first clash between Mourinho and Galatasaray this season, as the rivalry between the two sides continues to escalate.

The 62-year-old filed a lawsuit against the club in February after they accused him of making racist statements.

The controversy stemmed from Mourinho's post-match comments following a 0-0 draw in an earlier derby.

LATEST SPORTS NEWS:

He had said the Galatasaray bench was "jumping like monkeys" when appealing for refereeing decisions.

The comment sparked immediate backlash from Galatasaray, with Mourinho proceeding to defend himself.

Several black players he previously managed, including Didier Drogba and Michael Essien, publicly supported him.

"They didn't know my connections with Africa, with African people and African players and African charities," Mourinho stated.

He added: "Everyone knows who I am as a person. Everybody knows my bad qualities, but that is not one of my bad qualities."

The former Chelsea manager insisted Galatasaray had twisted his words.

"The attack accusing racism was a bad choice," he concluded.

Mourinho now faces a nervous wait to see if he will be punished for the nose-pinching incident.

The Portuguese manager could potentially receive a lengthy ban for his behaviour in the touchline altercation.
