The former Manchester City and Queens Park Rangers midfielder has been vocal on social media once again
Joey Barton has made it clear he has no issue with Jermaine Jenas after the former footballer landed a Formula E presenting role.
Jenas works for the BBC but will also now be the host of a new Formula E show on TNT Sports.
That's despite the former Newcastle star having no experience of working in the sport.
Barton has been quick to condemn female pundits and presenters for covering men's football.

He targeted Alex Scott earlier this week, while he's also shared a private message he sent the ex-Arsenal star.
When it comes to Jenas, however, Barton has no issue with the 40-year-old working outside his realm.
A fan said on X: "Will be interesting to see if ya man @Joey7Barton piles in on this appointment.
"Unless he knows of Jermaine's secret Formula E career."
Yet Barton thinks Jenas has 'earned the right' due to his work for BBC programme The One Show.
"He’s earned the right with the @OneShow. He’ll be presenting I take it," Barton said.
"If he gets technical with drivers and team bosses, about how he’d drive the car. He should shut the f**k up.
"But JJ will know that.
"He’s a legend. Love the man.
"He’s working his ass off to get himself a top job presenting. Whats not to love."
Fans on X have taken issue with Barton's latest comments, with some suggesting the 41-year-old is being hypocritical.
"JJ had no experience with PRESENTING before. None," said one user.
"Worked hard, made mistakes, learned from it.
"So you’re applauding a man for doing EXACTLY what you were slagging off a woman for doing this week.
"GO FIGURE!"
A second said: "So ur saying women can be pundits as long as they don’t get too technical?
"Or are u just not willing to admit you have massive double standards?"
A third said: "Gotta say you've outdone yourself... its ok for your male mates to work on tv but not the ladies :-)."
A fourth vented: "Always love a bit of contradiction."
"I'm blocking because all I read is sensationalist grifting," were the words of a fifth user.
