Jermaine Jenas was axed by the BBC after sordid texts emerged
Jermaine Jenas could be back on television in the very near future just days after it was announced that the BBC had sacked him.
The 41-year-old was dropped from his roles on The One Show and Match of the Day after an internal investigation alleged that he had sent unsolicited text messages to female colleagues.
However, Jenas has been handed a career lifeline by TNT Sports, according to the Telegraph.
It is reported that the sports broadcaster has kept the former England international on their roster, though he is not expected to work this weekend.

A return date has yet to be discussed but it is believed that he could make a come back after the international break next month.
TNT executives are set to address the matter during the October international break, though it is dependent on no further controversy emerging from his BBC axe.
Jenas works as a freelancer for TNT Sports and he has been called up already this season as a co-commentator, working during the first round of fixtures in the Premier League when Liverpool faced Ipswich Town on August 17.
TNT chiefs have made no official comment over their position on Jenas' sacking at the BBC.
They have not been privy to their investigation or seen the evidence that was utilised against him.
It has put them in a difficult position, though Jenas has since issued a formal apology.
“I am ashamed, and I am deeply sorry," the 41-year-old said.
“I have let myself down, my family, friends and colleagues down, and I owe everyone an apology - especially the women with whom I was messaging. I am so, so sorry."
Jenas has also admitted he is fighting for his marriage and his wife, Ellie Penfold, is 'absolutely raging'.
The couple have been married since 2011 and have two children together while Jenas has another child from a previous relationship.
