Tottenham starJames Maddison has hit back at a fan who criticised him for attending the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace hours after Spurs' 2-2 draw with Wolves on Sunday.
The England international was spotted at the venue alongside teammate Brennan Johnson watching the last-16 clash between Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton.
One supporter took to Instagram to brand Maddison's attendance "unacceptable" given Spurs' current form, writing "You taking the p***? The form we're in and you go to the darts?".
The midfielder responded bluntly: "Shut up you wally" with a laughing emoji.

Spurs had earlier surrendered a 2-1 lead against Wolves when Jorgen Strand Larsen struck an 87th-minute equaliser at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Johnson, who would later join Maddison at the darts, had put Spurs ahead just before half-time, scoring from close range in the third minute of stoppage time.
The result leaves Tottenham in 11th place in the Premier League table as they head into the new year.
The draw extended Spurs' winless run to three matches and means they now sit 11 points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
The darts event took place at Alexandra Palace, just a 12-minute journey from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London.
Maddison, a well-known fan of the sport, regularly performs darts-themed celebrations when scoring goals.
The midfielder and Johnson were in attendance for the evening session which saw Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price secure crucial victories.
Tottenham's struggles extend beyond Sunday's draw, with the club winning just two of their last 10 matches in all competitions.
However, they remain in contention for their first trophy since 2008, having reached the Carabao Cup semi-finals where they will face Liverpool.

The upcoming fixtures present significant challenges for Ange Postecoglou's side, with a Premier League clash against in-form Newcastle on January 4.
This will be followed by the crucial two-legged Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool, the same team that recently handed them a 6-3 defeat.
Speaking after Sunday's draw, Postecoglou confirmed the squad would be given Monday and Tuesday off to recover.

"This is the first week where we don't have a midweek game, so I think the whole group probably needs a couple of days just to get away from everything," said the Australian manager.
The break comes amid an ongoing injury crisis, with Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Gugliemo Vicario, Ben Davies and Richarlison all missing the Wolves clash.
The situation worsened when Destiny Udogie suffered a suspected hamstring injury during Sunday's match.
