Harry Kane has come out fighting after helping England beat Finland on Tuesday night, with the forward taking aim at his critics following his heroics at Wembley.
The Bayern Munich star was widely scrutinised earlier this summer when he struggled under Gareth Southgate at the European Championships in Germany.
Yet Kane was back to his brilliant best on Tuesday, with the 31-year-old netting twice in the second half to give England all three points.
The veteran was playing his 100th match for his country, something that puts him in an elite club in the process.

Only Billy Wright, Frank Lampard, Sir Bobby Charlton, Ashley Cole, Sir Bobby Moore, Steven Gerrard, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Peter Shilton have represented England more.
And Kane has now hit back at his critics after his brace helped England make it two wins from two under interim boss Lee Carsley.
"It was a big night for me, really proud. I want to score goals and help the team," he said.
"Whenever you are doubted, it makes you more hungry to prove people wrong. I always back myself to score goals and I am excited for the future.

"Nowadays as footballer you're going to get criticism, people talk about you as a player.
"I’ve always said that when things aren’t going your way to use that to motivate you and bring a hunger inside you.
"Not just to other people but to prove to yourself you can keep at the level. There will be a time, I’m not sure when, when the level will drop and you won’t feel the same.
"But whilst I keep feeling like this I want to keep pushing the boundaries. Come October I will be ready to go again.

"I don’t think I was even thinking of 100 caps when I was on loan at Millwall, Leicester, Norwich.
"I’ve learnt a lot over the years. Hopefully I’ll get 101 and 102 in October and few more goals as well."
Kane also reflected on a 'special' night for himself and his family.
His wife, Kate, was there to watch him in action alongside two of his daughters.

And Kane has revealed his son, Henry, had a little 'meltdown' prior to kick off - while also saying he was glad to make them proud.
"It was really special. My son [Henry] wasn’t really having it before the game," he continued.
"He had a bit of a meltdown, it was a bit past his bedtime! He didn’t fancy coming out in the rain. Thankfully my wife was there to look after him.
"It was a great occasion. They are a little bit young still to understand really what’s going on. But they are special memories when they're older when we can look back and see them on the pitch.
