Football fans have flooded social media with messages of support for Chris Kamara after the charismatic pundit made an emotional return to broadcasting two years after he stepped back from working with Sky Sports.
It was announced earlier this month that Kamara would be stepping back into the commentary box, working alongside his former Sky sidekick Jeff Stelling, as part of Amazon Prime's Premier League Boxing Day coverage.
The 66-year-old confirmed his return on X that he would be covering Nottingham Forest's home match against Tottenham and expressed his delight at his return to 'doing what I love the most!'.
Kamara was a regular on TV screens for decades as part of Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday line-up and was also the face of Goals on Sunday.

But his broadcasting career came to a sudden end in 2022 when he was diagnosed with apraxia of speech (AOS).
The neurological disorder impairs speech and thought processes, but he was back on punditry duty on Boxing Day and shared a beaming smile when Stelling introduced him.
"I have got the best game of the day," Kamara said with a huge grin.
"When Amazon rang me up, I thought they wanted me to deliver parcels but they said the game, YES!"
Kamara went on to add that he's feeling 'great' and was over the moon to be back covering football.
He added: "To get that call and to say I was doing this game was the biggest fill up ever."
And his return to the screens was a huge hit with football fans tuning in for the day's coverage.
One excited viewer wrote: "JEFF AND KAMMY REUNITED. THANK YOU @primevideosport."

Kamara recently revealed that his health has improved considerably over the past year.
